Through Guide Right and Kappa League, the chapter helps young men build confidence, leadership, academic readiness, accountability, and a clear vision for their future.

Canton-Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter's relationship with Tougaloo College extends from undergraduate advising to supporting leadership, education, and institutional impact. In August 2026, the Canton-Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter, in partnership with the Jackson Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., hosted a reception honoring Dr. Corey Wiggins, Tougaloo College's 15th President.

We promote educational achievement by supporting students, celebrating academic excellence, and creating pathways to opportunity.
From food and holiday drives to health, school, and neighborhood initiatives, the chapter puts service into action throughout Canton and Madison County.
We work alongside schools, nonprofits, civic organizations, churches, and community leaders to expand the reach and effectiveness of our service.
As the advising alumni chapter for the Gamma Rho Undergraduate Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. at Tougaloo College, the chapter provides mentorship, fraternity guidance, leadership development, and support to undergraduate brothers as they grow in achievement and service.
This relationship connects collegiate and alumni Kappas while helping strengthen the next generation of fraternity leadership.
During the 2025–2026 school year, the chapter awarded seven scholarships to graduating seniors through the Earl B. Dickerson Scholarship and the Canton-Madison Alumni Chapter Scholarship.
$2,000 total: $2,000 to one recipient or $1,000 each to two recipients.
$2,500 total: $500 each to one recipient from each of five high schools.
The chapter supports young people through mentoring and scholarships and serves central Mississippi through community partnerships and outreach.

The chapter welcomes partnerships with businesses, schools, churches, nonprofits, civic organizations, and community leaders who share our commitment to achievement, youth development, education, and service.
Collaborate with the chapter on community service, educational initiatives, youth programs, health initiatives, and projects that benefit Canton and Madison County.
Support chapter programs, scholarships, community events, and approved initiatives through financial sponsorship or event support.
Businesses can support the chapter through donated goods or services, venue support, meals, printing, transportation, professional services, or special member discounts.
