Celebrating Leadership

A moment of achievement and community.

Brothers of the Canton-Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter and Jackson Alumni Chapter, along with friends, colleagues, and community leaders, gathered at Tougaloo College to recognize Dr. Wiggins and mark the beginning of a new chapter of leadership for one of Mississippi’s historic institutions of higher education.

Dr. Wiggins brings more than two decades of experience across higher education, public service, economic development, philanthropy, and civil rights advocacy. Before becoming Tougaloo College’s 15th President, he served as Federal Co-Chairman of the Delta Regional Authority and previously led the Mississippi State Conference NAACP.

The joint reception reflected the chapters’ shared commitment to achievement, education, leadership, and strong community partnerships.

CMAC proudly serves as the advising alumni chapter for the Gamma Rho Undergraduate Chapter at Tougaloo College. Partnering with Jackson Alumni to honor Dr. Wiggins also provided an opportunity to reaffirm the chapter’s relationship with the College and the shared commitment to supporting leadership and opportunity in the communities we serve.
